🌸 An Inspiring Session for Our Female Engineering Students 🌸

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Sukkur IBA University, successfully conducted an interactive one-hour session exclusively for our female students with Engr. Irsa Jan, a Gold Medalist and accomplished Electrical Engineering graduate of SIBAU.

The session commenced with a warm welcome note by Dr. Sharjeel, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, who welcomed Engr. Irsa and the students to this insightful session.

Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Europe under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program, Engr. Irsa shared valuable insights from her academic journey, international exposure, scholarship experience, and professional growth.
The session provided our female students with an opportunity to interact, ask questions, and learn from the journey of a successful alumna who is making her mark at the international level.

We sincerely appreciate Engr. Irsa Jan for taking the time to connect with our students, share her experiences, and inspire them to dream bigger, explore opportunities, and believe in their potential.

The session concluded with remarks by Ms. Kainat Soomro, OBE Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of PEC accreditation for Electrical Engineering graduates and briefed the students about the facilities and support available for female students in the Department of Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Computer Systems Engineering successfully organized the Final Year Project (FYP) Exhibition, providing graduating students with an excellent opportunity to showcase their innovative projects, technical expertise, and research accomplishments.

The event was graced by Prof. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah, Pro Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University, as the chief guest. Other distinguished attendees included Dr. Saeed Ahmed Khan Abro, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Sharjeel Afridi, Head, Department of Electrical Engineering; Dr. Abdul Sattar Chan, Head, Department of Computer Systems Engineering; Dr. Abdul Baseer, FYP Coordinator, Department of Electrical Engineering; and Engr. Umair Ayaz, FYP Coordinator, Department of Computer Systems Engineering, along with faculty members from both departments.

The exhibition served as a vibrant platform for students to present their final-year projects and demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities. The guests and faculty members interacted with the students, reviewed their projects, and provided valuable feedback, encouragement, and motivation.

Special appreciation is extended to Dr. Abdul Baseer and Engr. Umair Ayaz for their dedication, coordination, and tireless efforts in successfully organizing this event. Their commitment ensured a productive and engaging experience for both participants and visitors.

The event concluded on a positive note, reflecting the departments’ commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and industry-relevant learning. Best wishes were extended to all graduating students for their future endeavors, with hopes for their continued success in their professional careers and contributions to the engineering profession.
