Ignite Your Entrepreneurial Journey

On 11th December 2025, Dr. Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso, Director, Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Incubation, Sukkur IBA University, conducted an interactive workshop on Ignite Your Entrepreneurial Journey, a session that lays the foundation for every successful entrepreneurial path.

The workshop focused on the starting point of entrepreneurship: self-awareness and mindset. Participants explored what entrepreneurship truly means, how an entrepreneurial mindset is developed, and why motivation, resilience, and adaptability matter more than ideas alone. Through guided discussions and practical exercises, particpants worked on identifying personal motivations, mapping strengths and weaknesses through SWOT analysis, and recognizing real opportunities hidden within everyday problems.

Dr. Khoso emphasizes that entrepreneurship begins within before it moves outward to the market. The workshop reflected this philosophy, encouraging participants to reflect on their beliefs, challenge limiting assumptions, and adopt a growth-oriented mindset that embraces learning and action over fear and perfection.

What made the workshop impactful was the active engagement of participants, who openly reflected on their goals, shared insights, and demonstrated a strong willingness to grow. It reaffirmed my belief that when individuals understand themselves, they are better equipped to design meaningful and sustainable entrepreneurial journeys.

Grateful to all participants for their energy and openness. This workshop was not just a session, it was the first step of an entrepreneurial journey for many.

Closing Ceremony of Ek Din Sale Ka 2025 Celebrates Innovation & Entrepreneurial Excellence

The Closing Ceremony of Ek Din Sale Ka, held on 26th November 2025 and organized by the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Incubation (CELInc), Sukkur IBA University, concluded on a high note of celebrating innovation, teamwork, and entrepreneurial achievement.

Dr. Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso, Director CELInc, briefed the Chief Guest on the journey and key achievements of Ek Din Sale Ka since its inception in 2019, highlighting its continuous growth and impact. He shared how the event has evolved over the years, with digital transactions via JazzCash introduced this year as a value addition, made possible with the support of the State Bank of Pakistan, Sukkur Region.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University, who distributed shields among the respected jury members, organizing team, and winners across multiple categories.

The jury comprised Dr. Faisal Bin Ubaid, Mr. Syed Asim Basheer, Ms. Anjabeen Soomro, Dr. Shahzaman Khan, and Ms. Mubeena Soomro, while Dr. Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso served as the Patron of the event.

The event was led by Mr. Ali Mujtaba Shah, Deputy Director Incubations, as Chief Organizer, with strong support from the organizing team including Mr. Touseef Hussain Ghumro, Ms. Marvi Mangi, Ms. Sadia Nisar, Ms. Sonia Kumari, and Ms. Kaneez Fatima. Ms. Muskan Mariyam led Graphic Designing and Social Media Marketing, while Mr. Muhammad Zuhaib (President SISC), Mr. Abdul Sami, Mr. Aftab Ahmed, and Mr. Naveed Jumani contributed as organizers from SISC.

The 7th Ek Din Sale Ka brought together leading experts for a powerful panel discussion titled “Employee to Enterprise: Integrating Entrepreneurial Mindset in Universities’ Ecosystem.” Distinguished panelists, Dr. Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso, Director CELInc; Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Bhutto, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences; Prof. Dr. Altaf Hussain Samo, Director EDC; and Mr. Fowad Nadeem, Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan BSC Sukkur shared actionable insights on transforming university environments into hubs of real entrepreneurial learning.

Moderated by Mr. Touseef Hussain Ghumro, Faculty Member, Department of Business Administration, the discussion emphasized that developing an entrepreneurial mindset requires going beyond theory, beyond competitions, and moving toward practical, hands-on experiences where students can practice real entrepreneurship, take risks, solve real problems, and experiment with business ideas within the university ecosystem.

The session highlighted the need for real-world startup practice opportunities, integrated entrepreneurial learning across all disciplines, strong industry–academia linkages, exposure to digital and financial tool, and supportive campus environment that rewards innovation.

Held on 26th November 2025 at 6:00 PM PST at the Cricket Ground, Sukkur IBA University, the discussion successfully inspired students to shift from an employee mindset toward becoming future founders and enterprise builders.

🎤 Panel Discussion on “Future Founders” Inspires Young Entrepreneurs at 7th Ek Din Sale Ka!

Sukkur IBA University successfully hosted a powerful and thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Future Founders: Building the Entrepreneurial Skillset for University Youth.” Distinguished panelists Prof. Dr. Niaz Hussain Ghumro, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba Shaikh, Dr. Zafarullah Sahito, and Mr. Syed Sikandar Ali Shah shared insightful perspectives on innovation, entrepreneurial readiness, and empowering youth to become future leaders. The session was expertly moderated by Ms. Sumaira Zia, PhD Scholar at Sukkur IBA University, who guided the conversation with clarity and depth, ensuring meaningful engagement throughout.

Dr. Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership & Incubation, presented souvenirs to the moderator and panelists in appreciation of their valuable contributions.

The discussion provided students with practical knowledge, motivation, and a clearer understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset required to become future founders, innovators, and change makers.

The 7th “Ek Din Sale Ka” Successfully Held at Sukkur IBA University! The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University. Dr. Ikhtiar Ahmed Khoso, Patron of the event and Director Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Incubation, shared an insightful overview of the initiative’s purpose, vision, and impact. He also briefed the chief guest that 36 stalls were digitized for seamless payments via JazzCash and State Bank of Pakistan, Sukkur region a major step toward promoting digital entrepreneurship on campus.

The Vice Chancellor, along with esteemed visitors, toured over 150 diverse stalls, each creatively showcasing students’ entrepreneurial potential. He appreciated the students’ dedication, interacted with them enthusiastically, enjoyed food stalls, participated in games, and applauded the innovation displayed across the event.

Stall Categories Included: Food, sports, garments. art & culture, cosmetics, gaming, IT, Tech & Electronics.

The 7th “Ek Din Sale Ka” once again demonstrated the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of SIBAU, providing students, faculty, and the community with a dynamic platform to bring their business ideas to life.

Senora Art by Ms. Zarnain Ayub represented CEL&Inc, Sukkur IBA University at WECON: Pakistan's Iconic Women Entrepreneurship Conference held in Islamabad on 26th November 2025. Showcasing her beautifully handcrafted products, Ms. Zarnain demonstrated the creativity, skill, and entrepreneurial drive that define the emerging startups nurtured at CEL&Inc. 💡✨

Throughout the event, she actively engaged with visitors, trainers, and fellow entrepreneurs, sharing ideas, exploring potential collaborations, and receiving valuable feedback to strengthen her business model.
