Student Achievement

We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Mr. Roshan, a Semester 6 Bachelor of Computer Science (BSCS) student in the Computer Science Department at Sukkur IBA University.

By applying the rigorous practical skills, ethical hacking methodologies, and cybersecurity knowledge gained through his Information Security coursework, Roshan successfully identified and responsibly reported a Critical Severity security vulnerability.

His findings were submitted to the National CERT Pakistan (PKCERT) under the Cyber Patriot / Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP). In recognition of his responsible disclosure and valuable contribution to national cybersecurity, Roshan was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Director General of National CERT Pakistan.

His efforts have played a meaningful role in strengthening Pakistan's digital infrastructure and promoting a more secure cyberspace.

Roshan's proactive initiative reflects the true value of hands-on learning in both offensive and defensive cybersecurity. His achievement demonstrates how students of the Computer Science Department, Sukkur IBA University, are making a real-world impact by contributing to national cybersecurity readiness and fostering a culture of responsible vulnerability disclosure.

Congratulations to Roshan on this outstanding accomplishment, and we wish him continued success in his cybersecurity journey.

The Center of Research for Business Management (CRBM), Department of Business Administration, Sukkur IBA University, is pleased to organize a one-day faculty workshop titled “Teaching in the Age of AI: Mastering Prompt Engineering and Innovative Pedagogical Strategies” on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

The workshop is designed to equip faculty members with contemporary pedagogical approaches and practical AI competencies, enabling them to design effective educational prompts, integrate AI tools into lesson planning and classroom delivery, and enhance student engagement and learning outcomes through the meaningful combination of pedagogy and artificial intelligence.
