The keynote speaker for the seminar was Dr. Lutfullah Saqib, Chairman, Department of Law and Shariah, University of Swat, whose valuable insights and academic expertise greatly enriched the session. Dr. Lutfullah Saqib elaborated on the distinctions between conventional and Islamic banking, highlighting concepts such as Riba (interest), saving accounts, fixed deposits, and Shariah-compliant financial products.
The session was both academically rigorous and practically insightful, offering students a deeper understanding of how Islamic principles can be applied in financial transactions and banking structures. The participation and engagement of students reflected the importance of such topics in contemporary legal and economic discourse.
As part of the closing segment, certificates of participation were awarded to students, and a shield of honour was presented to Dr. Lutfullah Saqib as a token of appreciation for his contribution and continued support. The organizing students extend their heartfelt gratitude to the respected Chairman for his presence, guidance, and unwavering encouragement.
