Empowering Innovation Through Exposure to Emerging Technologies

The students of University of Computing Science & IT (UCSIT) proudly participated in the Indus RAS Expo 2026, held in Islamabad, where they explored the latest advancements in Robotics, Autonomous Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and other emerging technologies.

The expo provided an excellent platform for our students to interact with industry experts, researchers, innovators, and technology leaders, enabling them to gain practical insights into cutting-edge technological developments and future industry trends.

This educational visit was facilitated and coordinated by the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) as part of its commitment to promoting innovation, industry engagement, and experiential learning. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) is pleased to inform you that the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan is being celebrated by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and Government of Pakistan. In this regard, HEC along with Embassy of China is organizing commemorative activities for students of Pakistani universities on the following themes.
Theme/Topic Essay Competition Celebrating Diplomatic Ties · Eternal Friendship”
Theme Short Video Contest “China-Pakistan Friendship · Passed on from Generation to Generation”

ESSAY COMPETITION
Essay Themes (choose one):
1. China-Pakistan Friendship in My Eyes.
2. Stories of China-Pakistan Cooperation.
3. Looking Forward to China-Pakistan Cooperation in the Future.
Essay Requirements:
Word limit: Maximum 2,000 words.
All submissions must be original; plagiarism, if detected, will be penalized.
Essays may be submitted in English.
University Nomination Process: Each university shall conduct an internal evaluation and submit the following to HEC Secretariat:
SHORT VIDEO CONTEST
Contest Themes (choose one):
1. 75 Years of China-Pakistan Friendship.
2. Chinese Stories Around Me.
3. China-Pakistan Youth Striving Together for a Shared Future.
Video Requirements:
Duration: Maximum 3 minutes.
Must be original; free of copyright issues and suitable for public broadcasting.
Participants are encouraged to use Chinese AI tools for script writing, video production, and dubbing.

University Nomination Process: University shall conduct an internal evaluation and submit to HEC:
One best essay and one best video from the University.
Evaluation & Awards: National-level evaluation will be conducted at HEC Secretariat by the joint China-Pakistan evaluation committee.
The deadline for the submission is 22nd July to ORIC Office.
