Ignition Week 2025 began on 1st September with a vibrant Welcome Day, organized by the GIKI Department of Student Affairs in collaboration with the Character Building Society GIKI, to warmly receive the new Batch 2025 into the GIKI family. The event marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the incoming students, filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and community building.
Continuing the festivities, on 3rd September, the Department of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the GIKI Adventure Club (GAC), organized a refreshing Hiking Trip. Students enjoyed an adventurous photo walk through the scenic hills of GIKI, capturing the natural beauty and building lasting memories. To add to the excitement, a lively Jamming Session, assisted by the CDES Society, was held at the hilltop, filling the air with music and energy.
These activities contributed to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 - Quality Education, SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting physical well-being, student engagement, inclusivity, and collaboration among societies.
