On 14 April 2026, Dr. Saleem Iqbal from the Department of Chemical Engineering Wahh Engineering College (WEC) welcomed by Chemical Technology GCT Taxila department at Govt College of Technology, Taxila. (GCT Taxila ). He delivered an inspiring career counselling session on “Required Skills in the Modern World” at Government College of Technology (GCT) Taxila, TEVTA.
The session was graciously hosted under the leadership of Principal Naveed Haider (Principal, GCT Taxila) and HOD Engr. Ussama Shabbir Gill (Head of Chemical Department), whose warm welcome and support made the event highly successful. Engr. Atif Niaz from the Department of Mechanical Engineering also accompanied the session.
Organized for the students of DAE Chemical Technology, the session focused on the essential skills, knowledge, and professional attitude required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world. Students were guided on career opportunities, communication skills, technical expertise, problem-solving, teamwork, and the importance of continuous learning.
The interactive discussion greatly motivated students to prepare for future challenges and develop into competent professionals in the field of chemical technology.
