University of Wah celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan held on 13 August 2026. Prof. Dr Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and hoisted the national flag, followed by the National Anthem.

The event was attended by Registrar, Deans, Directors, Principal Staff Officers, Principal, Mashal Degree College, distinguished guests from Sudan, faculty members, staff, and students of the University of Wah and Mashal Degree College. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate the joyous occasion.

The celebrations were conducted in a patriotic spirit, reflecting national unity and pride. The occasion provided an opportunity to honour the sacrifices of the nation’s founding leaders and reaffirm the values of Unity, Faith, Discipline, and national responsibility. The enthusiastic participation of the UW Community made the celebration meaningful and reiterated their collective commitment to Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and development. The event concluded with prayers for the peace, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan.

His path to industrial excellence began right in his student days with a high-impact final year project, β€œEnergy Conservation through Implementation of TQM Tools,” completed at Bestway Cement Limited.

Launching his career as a Trainee Engineer, Engr. Bilal built an extraordinary journey specializing in Plant Maintenance, Strategic Planning, Inspection, and Mega Projects. His expertise has driven success across leading national and international organizations, including Bestway Cement Limited, Maple Leaf Cement Limited, and Arabian Yemen Cement Company. 🏭🌍

Today, he serves as Senior Manager (Mechanical) at Maple Leaf Cement Limited, leading the Reliability Centered Maintenance Department.
