An orientation session regarding admissions in the BS (Bachelor of Studies) and ADP (Associate Degree Program) was successfully conducted today with the 2nd year (Arts and Humanities) students and their parents at the college premises. The session was arranged to guide intermediate-level students and their parents about higher education opportunities, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and future career prospects.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address by the Principal. In the opening remarks, the Principal highlighted the importance of higher education in shaping students’ academic and professional futures. The significance of selecting appropriate degree programs according to aptitude, interest, and market demand was emphasized.
During the session, detailed information was provided about:
Eligibility criteria for BS and ADP programs
Admission schedule and application procedure
Available disciplines and subject combinations
Fee structure and scholarship opportunities
Attendance requirements and academic policies
Career scope after completion of BS and ADP degrees
Faculty members from different departments introduced their respective programs and explained the academic structure, semester system, examination process, and research opportunities. Special attention was given to clarifying the difference between BS (4-year program) and ADP (2-year program), along with pathways for ADP students to continue into BS programs.
An interactive question-and-answer session was held at the end, where parents and students actively participated and raised queries regarding merit calculation, hostel facilities, transport, and future career prospects. All concerns were addressed satisfactorily by the administration and faculty members.
