Z dumą ogłaszamy, że nasza Absolwentka, dr Aleksandra Sobańska jest autorką ważnej publikacji pt.: "Polska T. Doświadczenia transpłciowych kobiet w perspektywie socjologicznej". Książka jest skoncentrowana na wciąż jeszcze w Polsce (ale także szerzej na świecie) sporadycznie podejmowanym obszarze studiów nad transpłciowością, odnosząc się szczególnie do doświadczeń transpłciowych kobiet.
Publikacja jest uzupełnioną wersją doktoratu pt.: "Tranzycja płci jako zjawisko społeczne. Światy społeczne i struktury możliwości w doświadczeniach biograficznych transpłciowych kobiet", napisanego pod kierunkiem dr hab. Agnieszki Golczyńskiej-Grondas, prof. UŁ, Aggie Grondas obronionego w 2024 roku.

We are proud to announce that our alumna, Dr Aleksandra Sobańska, is the author of an important publication entitled “Polska T. The Experiences of Transgender Women from a Sociological Perspective.” The book addresses an area of transgender studies that remains relatively underexplored in Poland (and, more broadly, worldwide), with a particular focus on the lived experiences of transgender women.
The publication is an expanded version of her doctoral dissertation, “Gender Transition as a Social Phenomenon: Social Worlds and Opportunity Structures in the Biographical Experiences of Transgender Women,” written under the supervision of Dr hab. Agnieszka Golczyńska-Grondas, Professor of the University of Łódź, and defended in 2024.
