Basic facts about the Division:
- Initiated in academic year 2003/2004
- Educates international students from all over the world

• 6-year MD program is designed for high school/secondary school graduates. It is a full time study program based on requirements which are obligatory for the Polish medical higher education institutions and is adequate to EU standards.

• MD ADVANCED program is a part of the 6- year program. destined for the university/college graduates of the pre-medical studies with the BSc degree minimum. Students are transferred directly to the 3rd year of the Advanced MD program, The duration of the program – 4 years.
• 5-year DMD program –Dentistry program is designed for high school/secondary school graduates. Program is based on requirements which are obligatory for the Polish medical higher education institutions and is adequate to EU standards.

We are discussing everything that is crucial to the development of the modern academic library, from the role of artificial intelligence, research data, and scholarly communication, to everyday challenges related to users and collection access. We are at the heart of the most important discussions.

Expert Panel: Library Systems - AI in Cataloging, the Central Catalog, and Library Catalogs. Technical Support in Libraries – People and Best Practices, is chaired by Director Witold Kozakiewicz.

This is already the second day of intensive exchange of experiences and reflections on the development of the modern academic library - one that is open, innovative, and responsive to the challenges of a changing world.

Our 6MD student Rami Altabbouche has become a finalist of the FameLab Poland competition! 🎉

The participants’ task is to present a scientific topic of their choice in English in just three minutes. The idea of the competition is to popularize science and make complex scientific concepts easy to understand.

The FameLab Poland 2026 final will take place on June 9 at 6:00 PM at the Rialto Cinema-Theatre in Katowice ✨
