także biegle opanują techniczny i biznesowy język angielski, tak potrzebny na współczesnym rynku pracy. Kadrę dydaktyczną EFE stanowią nauczyciele akademiccy z różnych wydziałów Politechniki Częstochowskiej, mający spore doświadczenie we współpracy międzynarodowej oraz zapraszani wykładowcy z partnerskich uczelni zagranicznych.

Termination of EFE

We would like to kindly inform you that on 11/12/2020 the last semester of study at EFE ended, and thus the European Faculty of Engineering ended its activities. The final, VII semester students still have to defend their diploma theses, but they will be the last EFE graduates.

We would like to thank all those who conducted classes under the EFE, as well as those who otherwise contributed to the functioning of EFE for their cooperation. We hope that the 11 years of EFE's activity will remain in the memory of all of us, and above all our graduates. We wish you all the best in your professional and personal life!

We invite you to the meeting during Reunion of Graduates of CUT on 21st of September (Saturday), 14.00, room 12 (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, al. Armii Krajowej 21). The current management of EFE will surely be there together with the first EFE Director Prof. Stanisław Drobniak. Of course, the present EFE students are also invited.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of EFE at the Częstochowa University of Technology. Since then, many of you have graduated from university and started working in Poland and abroad. Since the idea of organizing a meeting of EFE graduates came up, we would like to ask you to inform us who of you would be interested in such an initiative. A meeting of your colleagues after many years would be a good opportunity to remember the time of studies and exchange experiences.

New academic year 2018/2019

October 1st marks the beginning of another academic year at the EFE. It will be started by 12 students of the second, third and fourth year, and 67 students staying at our University within the ERASMUS+ programme will participate in selected EFE classes. We wish all the students success in their studies!

On February 24th 2017, a group of staff and students of the Częstochowa University of Tehchnology visited Techniczne Zakłady Naukowe (TZN), a technical secondary school in Częstochowa, for promotion of studies at the University, in particular at EFE and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

During the visit we presented:
- The offer of studies at the University and events organized for secondary schools - Dr. Tomasz Jaruga
- The offer of studies in English at European Faculty of Engineering (EFE) - Dr. Maciej Marek
- The achievements of PCz Rover Team - students: Dominik Maźniak, Tomasz Ignasiak, Janusz Binek.
- The principles of 3D printing - again Dr. Tomasz Jaruga

In addition to these presentations the students were able to see (and play with):
- the martian rover "Infinity"
- 3D printer (FDM technology) and polariscope - with the help of Dr. Paweł Palutkiewicz
- thermal imaging camera - thanks to MSc. Damian Richter

We would like to thank the schoolmaster for the invitation - MSc. Karol Kaczmarek. We owe special thanks to those responsible for organizing the visit at school - MSc. Ewa Brewczyńska-Żelechowska in particular. We are still impressed by hospitality of TZN. Hope to see you soon!

Dear EFE students!

Starting from October 17th 2016 additional English classes, conducted by a native speaker Michelle Kruk - a scholar of Polish-American Fulbright Commission, will be available to students of EFE.

The classes are free of charge and will be held for two semesters in the form of conversations. They are aimed at students with knowledge of English at intermediate level (B1-B2).

Submissions by e-mail should be sent to Dr. K. Malinska ([email protected]) to 7th October to the end of the day.

The schedule of the additional classes will be determined after collecting of the applications and adaptation to the schedule of regular studies.

The Energy Summer School, Slovenské elektrárne and its partners are working hard on the next event.

It will take place in Slovakia from 26th June to 2nd July 2016 under the auspices of H.E. Maroš Šefčovič, Vice President of the European Commission for Energy Union, who will also personally meet the students and discuss with them about their ideas on Europe’s energy outlook.

The team behind the Energy Summer School would like to further extend its reach to include all Visegrad 4 countries. In 2016, the biggest energy generating company in Slovakia, Slovenské elektrárne, would like to welcome a group of 20 university students who speak excellent English, regardless of their field of study or degree.
