!Hay muchos novedades en la Escuela y nos gustaría invitaros ¡

Tenemos el honor de recibir esta semana en nuestra Facultad al Prof. Guillermo Palao Moreno (Universidad de Valencia, España), que va a dar una conferencia titulada: Intellectual property cross-border infringement litigation in the EU digital market, el 26 de enero de 2024, a las 10.15 CET, aula 3025. (en inglés).

El Prof. Guillermo Palao Moreno, que ha participado ya en dos ocasiones en anteriores eventos científicos de la Escuela de Derecho Español y Latinoamericano, va a tener también un seminario: 'Digitalización de la cooperación judicial civil internacional en el espacio jurídico iberoamericano' en español durante las jornadas de la Escuela tituladas: 'Inteligencia artificial y transformaciones digitales en España y Latinoamérica' que tendrán lugar el 25 de enero de 2024 a las 16.00 h, aula 2042. Las jornadas organizadas de forma online y presencial, contarán también con la participación del Prof. Pablo Contreras Vásquez (UECN- Universidad Central de Chile) con la ponencia 'Convergencia internacional y caminos propios: Gobernanza de la AI en Latinoamérica ' y del Prof. Matías Andrés Aránguiz Villagrán (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) con una ponencia sobre auditorías algorítmicas. There are many new events at the School of Spanish and Latin American Law and we would like to invite you to join us!
We are honoured to host this week Prof. Guillermo Palao Moreno (University of Valencia, Spain), who will give a lecture entitled: Intellectual property cross-border infringement litigation in the EU digital market, on 26 January 2024, at 10.15 CET, room 3025 (in English).
Prof. Guillermo Palao Moreno, who has already participated twice in previous scientific events of the School of Spanish and Latin American Law, will also hold a seminar: 'Digitalisation of international civil judicial cooperation in the Latin American legal space' in Spanish during the School's conference entitled: 'Artificial intelligence and digital transformations in Spain and Latin America' which will take place on 25 January 2024 at 16.00 h, room 2042. The conference, organised both online and in person, will also include the participation of Prof. Pablo Contreras Vásquez (UECN- Universidad Central de Chile) with the paper 'International convergence and our own paths: Governance of AI in Latin America ' and Prof. Matías Andrés Aránguiz Villagrán (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) with a paper on algorithmic audits. Hello! We would like to thank Prof. Sara Chandler KC (Hon.) for her great seminar that took place this week at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Como comienzo del nuevo año académico, os invitamos a todos al seminario de una persona extraordinaria: la Prof. Sara Chandler, KC Hon.(Universidad London South Bank, Law Society.of England &Wales), el dia 5 de octubre de 2023, a las 9.30 horas, Aud. This year we organised it in a hybrid way: on site and online!

Therefore, we would like to thank all those without whom the event would not have been possible - first of all our dear Students - both online and those who have come to the classes on person!

We would like to thank Wydział Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego , in particular the Deans, Prof. Wojciech Zalewski, Prof. Marcin Michał Wiszowaty, Prof. Piotr Uziębło.

We would like to thank the Universitat de València - UV and UA - Universitat d'Alacant / University of Alicante, without which the organisation of this event would not have been possible, and that were a great inspiration to continue the project.
