We are excited to announce an upcoming team building activity that promises to be both delicious and engaging!
Get ready to embark on a culinary journey exploring the secrets of Polish cuisine. This event is designed to bring us closer together, fostering teamwork and creating lasting memories.

In the first part of the activity, we will delve into the fascinating world of Polish cuisine. We'll introduce you to some traditional dishes that will undoubtedly tantalize your taste buds. Prepare yourself for a delightful tasting experience featuring the following dishes:

🥣 Zurek królewski: A flavorful traditional soup made with fermented rye flour, sausages, and eggs. It's a true gem of Polish gastronomy.

🍞 Artisan bread with lard: Enjoy the rich and hearty flavors of freshly baked bread accompanied by lard, a popular Polish spread.

🌱 Vegan lard with pickled cucumber: For our vegan friends, we have a special treat! Taste the delicious vegan version of lard, combined with the tanginess of pickled cucumber.

Once the tasting session is complete, it's time to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty! Together, we will embark on a culinary adventure and learn the art of making traditional Polish dumplings. We'll guide you through the process of preparing the dough and stuffing the dumplings with your preferred fillings.

You will have the opportunity to choose from three mouthwatering options:

🥟 Russian-style dumplings: Indulge in the classic combination of potato, cheese, and onion, beautifully wrapped in delicate dough.

🥟 Dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms: Experience the earthy flavors of cabbage and mushrooms, expertly folded into each dumpling.

🥟 Meat-filled dumplings: For the meat lovers among us, savor the scrumptious taste of dumplings stuffed with a savory meat filling.

Once our cooking extravaganza comes to an end, it's time to savor the fruits of our labor! We'll sit down together and enjoy a well-deserved feast, sampling the delectable dumplings we prepared. If there are any leftovers, participants are welcome to take them home in disposable containers or their own.

We look forward to sharing this unique experience with each and every one of you. Team building has never been this delicious! Don't miss out on the opportunity to bond, have fun, and explore the vibrant flavors of Polish cuisine.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY:

Sightseeing of Guido Coal Mine, 17:30 – 20:30

Departure to Zabrze: 16:30
Bus departure to Gliwice – around 20:40

This excellently preserved mining level is waiting for you 320 metres below the surface. You will go there with the authentic elevator (in Silesia called "shola"), the same that is used in active coal mines. The express ride in darkness takes just several dozen of seconds!
The biggest attractions of the 320 level are the large scale mining machines presented in operation and the ride in suspended electric rail.

The experience at 320 level is mostly connected with exploring the development of mining technology from the end of the 19th century up to modern times. Here you will learn how the hard work of a coal miner looks like, in what conditions the coal is mined and what mother nature can do to with the tunnels if they are not protected with support. You will go through a maze of mining excavations - at some points it will be steep and dark! Remember that the protective helmet is to be worn on the whole touristic route.

Although Guido Coal Mine stopped its coal extraction long time ago, there is still some coal left. During the tour you'll see it at least four times, in its raw form - seams that are two meters thick.

Worth knowing:
- Tour duration: 2,5 hours.
- Route length: 3,5 km.
- The temperature underground is between 13 and 16 degrees of Celsius, independently from the season.
- Proper clothing and shoes with flat sole are recommended.
- Due to difference in the air pressure, we do not recommend this tour for people with serious diseases.

After your tour of the mine, join us for a hot meal that will be served in a unique and unforgettable setting. The Komora Kompresorów - Compressor Chamber, located deep in the heart of the mine, will provide an unforgettable atmosphere for this special occasion.

But that's not all! To make this experience truly exceptional, we've invited a miners' brass band to play during the meal. You'll be able to enjoy your dinner while listening to the sounds of traditional music, played by local musicians who know the mine like the back of their hand.
