Africa Day w Akademii Górnośląskiej to inicjatywa HAART Poland oraz Konsulatu Honorowego Republiki Południowej Afryki. Pokazała, jak istotne są dziś takie inicjatywy w budowaniu dialogu i otwartości.
Dzięki zaangażowaniu Konsul Honorowej Republiki Południowej Afryki Monika Nizioł w murach uczelni spotkali się przedstawiciele diaspory afrykańskiej, sympatycy Afryki, zaproszeni goście oraz władze Akademii Górnośląskiej: Rektor dr Marta Adamczyk, prof. AG oraz Prorektor dr Joanna Strzelczyk-Łucka, prof. AG.
Rozmowy o współpracy, różnorodności i budowaniu otwartego środowiska pokazały, jak istotną rolę może odgrywać uczelnia jako miejsce łączące ludzi, kultury i doświadczenia.
To ważny kierunek dla Śląska i solidny fundament pod kolejne inicjatywy integrujące środowisko międzynarodowe.

Africa Day at Katowice Business University is an initiative of the HAART Poland Foundation and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of South Africa. It demonstrated how important such initiatives are today in fostering dialogue and openness.
Thanks to the engagement of Ms Monika Nizioł, Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa, representatives of the African diaspora, supporters of Africa, invited guests, and the authorities of Katowice Business University came together at the university: Rector Dr Marta Adamczyk, Prof. AG, and Vice-Rector Dr Joanna Strzelczyk-Łucka, Prof. AG.
Discussions on cooperation, diversity, and building an open environment showed the important role a university can play as a place that connects people, cultures, and experiences.
This is an important direction for the Silesian region and a solid foundation for further initiatives integrating the international community.
