🌍🎉 International success of our students!

We are proud to announce that second-year International Business students (full-time and part-time) from UE Katowice excelled in the global X-Culture project, conducted as part of the course Intercultural Competences Project, designed and led by dr hab. Monika Sulimowska-Formowicz, Prof. UE. 💼🌐

The project brought together 5,835 students from 161 universities across 41 countries, working in over 1,000 global virtual teams. Our students stood out thanks to their professionalism, engagement, and excellent intercultural collaboration skills.

We are also delighted to share that dr hab. Monika Sulimowska-Formowicz, Prof. UE was awarded the prestigious title X-Culture Best Professor Award 2025-1, in recognition of her outstanding support, leadership, and educational excellence. 🏆👏

🎓 A big thank-you to our students for their enthusiasm, dedication, and hard work throughout the project. You’ve shown what it means to think and work globally – we are incredibly proud of you! 💙💪

Our International Business students took part in the prestigious 30th edition of the Euroweek 2025 conference, held from April 28 to May 2 in Vilnius, hosted by Vilnius Kolegija.
Since December, they had been working in international teams on AI-related projects, putting a great deal of effort into their preparation.

The University of Economics in Katowice was represented by four Master’s students - Mariam Elfeky, Mateusz Krasuski, Zuzanna Dulska, and Wiktoria Czyż - as well as two Bachelor’s students - Konrad Mały and Jacek Namysłowski.

They proudly represented our university on the international stage, supported throughout by the amazing and dedicated academic supervisors: Dr Magdalena Dominiczewska and Prof. Wojciech Dyduch.
See you in 2026 – this time in Katowice!

IP Brandy will help you to understand international brand management through experiential learning (games, internet platforms, interactive tools). You will work in international teams composed of business and IT sciences students. After the workshops, there will be integration activities like Taste-My-Country.
