Rene Laufer, is a Professor and Head of Subject Space Systems at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. 🇸🇪 He is originally affiliated with the University of Stuttgart, where he defended his dissertation on a concept for an expedition to the moon with small satellites.
It is these - small satellites - that interest him the most! That's why his goal is to conduct research and construct small satellites in order to send them beyond the Earth's orbit, to the Moon and beyond! 🛰🌘
Privately, he is a lover of skiing and motorcycles, and certainly enjoys traveling, as has taught on five continents: South America, North America, Africa, Asia and Europe! 🌍
