Monika Opalińska is Associate Professor of historical linguistics at the University of Warsaw, Poland. Her scholarly interests focus on historical phonology of Germanic languages, history of the English language, and manuscript studies. She is currently working on Old and Middle English versified translations of the Pater Noster and the fragmentary N-Psalter from 11th-century England.
