Before the ceremony began, there were gowns to put on, graduation caps to adjust, and familiar faces to find in the Stara Aula. On October 23, graduates of the 30th Executive MBA cohort and the 12th MBA KSB + Clark Master cohort came together at the Krakow University of Economics to receive their diplomas. 🎓
Prof. Dr. Habil. Łukasz Mamica, Full Professor and Vice Rector for Projects and Cooperation at KUE, and Assoc. Prof. Marcin Jędrzejczyk, Ph.D., Director of Krakow School of Business KUE, welcomed the graduates and guests. Soon, names were being called one by one, and each graduate had their moment to step forward.
The graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for the 30th Executive MBA cohort, bringing together graduates, academic leaders, and representatives of the programme’s international community. Prof. Agostinho Abrunhosa joined the celebration on behalf of AESE Business School, one of the programme’s distinguished academic partners. The occasion was further enriched by addresses from Monika Firlińska-Zawół, EMBA, Executive MBA Program Director, and Max Dudhia, MBA, Honorary President of the KSB MBA Alumni Club. Representing her fellow graduates, Katarzyna Jarek-Utnicka shared reflections on their collective journey, the experiences that shaped it, and the connections built along the way.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity to recognise outstanding academic achievement and meaningful contributions to the cohort. Katarzyna Karnaus-Cofur and Marcin Kopeć were honoured for achieving the highest academic averages, while Katarzyna Jarek-Utnicka received special recognition for her dedication and leadership as cohort representative.
Then it was time to celebrate the graduates of MBA KSB + Clark Master. Assoc. Prof. Marcin Jędrzejczyk, Ph.D., Siu Ming Luie, Vice Dean at Clark University School of Professional Studies, and Magdalena Adamczyk-Kowalczuk, MBA KSB + Clark Master Program Director, took part in this part of the ceremony. For the graduates, receiving their Clark University master’s diplomas from Siu Ming Luie was another important moment of the evening.
The formal ceremony gave way to group photographs and conversations at the reception. Two programs had shared the Stara Aula that evening, each with its own story and its own group of people who had reached this milestone together.
Dear Graduates, congratulations. Thank you for the work and commitment you brought to your studies, and for everything you contributed to the KSB KUE community. We wish you success in whatever you choose to do next.
