| One of the best things about is that our lecturers do far more than just teach - they actively shape international academic discussions and work on fascinating research projects around the world❗

We are proud to share that Dr. Piotr Łubiński recently participated in an important academic event at The Open University, presenting his lecture: “Intermediaries at War: Digital Platforms and Corporate Accountability”.

The presentation explored the intersection of humanitarian law, digital platforms, and corporate responsibility in times of conflict. The project, developed together with Natalia Szablewska, is also an important part of Dr. Łubiński’s fellowship at The Open University in Milton Keynes.

Congratulations to Dr. Piotr Łubiński on this outstanding achievement and for further strengthening IRAS’s presence in the international academic community 👏👏👏

| Jagimun 2026 has officially concluded after three inspiring days of diplomacy, debate, and international cooperation at the Wydział Studiów Międzynarodowych i Politycznych UJ of Uniwersytet Jagielloński in Kraków.

This year’s theme, “Rethink, Reshape, Rebuild,” encouraged participants to reflect on the future of international institutions and global governance in times of geopolitical uncertainty and emerging challenges. The conference gathered nearly 100 university and high-school students from Poland and abroad.

We are incredibly proud of the students behind this outstanding initiative, whose professionalism, commitment, and passion created a truly remarkable event.

The Opening Ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Dean of the Faculty dr hab. Piotr Bajor, prof. UJ and the Director of IRAS & GLAD Dr. Dominika Dziwisz, alongside distinguished international guests and speakers (including the Consul General of Austria, the Consul General of France, and Dr Kinga Schlesinger, Principal Administrator at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Poland).

Congratulations to the entire team from The Association of International and Area Studies on the success of this year’s edition! 👏
