📣📣📣Last Call for Presentations: „Sustainable Business at the Organizational Level: From Siloed Functions to Integrated Strategy” - 12th NIBES research session.📣📣📣
This call for presentations would welcome contributions in, but not limited to, the following areas :
➡️Breaking down the Silos: Submissions addressing how organizations can effectively integrate sustainability across functional boundaries (e.g., the intersection of sustainable operations and marketing, or HR and supply chain).
➡️Marketing Dimensions of Sustainable Business: Contributions exploring the strategic and practical aspects of sustainable marketing, including green branding, communicating sustainability to consumers, ethical consumption, and the risk of greenwashing.
➡️Organizational Capabilities and Change: Research examining the internal capabilities, leadership styles, and organizational structures required to embed sustainability as a holistic, rather than a fragmented, strategic priority.
➡️Measurement and Performance: Studies focusing on holistic frameworks for measuring the organization-wide impact of sustainability initiatives and the relationship between integrated sustainability and organizational competitive advantage.
➡️Stakeholder Engagement and Value Chains: Contributions that look at how firms manage relationships with multiple stakeholders (employees, investors, community, suppliers) to promote integrated sustainable practices throughout the value chain.
The research workshop is proposed by IRC Director, Katarzyna Sanak-Kosmowska, Assoc. Prof. of Marketing, Krakow University of Economics.
Deadline for abstract submission: 20th of February 2026
