In this year Tramwaj zwany pożądaniem (Streetcar named desire) runs again on tracks along streets of Szczecin. Each year, an annual action is intended to raise HIV/AIDS awerness organized by International Association of Medical Students (IFMSA) Poland and abroad in various forms. Educators will be asking about HIV/AIDS and STI and answering for all the questions according to those diseases, lots of leaflets and gadgets will be given out to people during this action.

Come and join us in educational-party tram! All the route and information will be posted in the event.

AFTERPARTY: Lulu, free entrance for all the PUM’s and US students!
In the tram also is possible to get special tickets to the club.

★★★ DENTAL CONFERENCE IS CALLING ★★★

PTSS (POLISH ASSOCIATION OF DENTAL STUDENTS) in Szczecin would like to invite all dental students from English Program in Poland for very first countrywide Dental Conference ,,Dentalship'' in Szczecin, which will be held on 03.03.-05.03.2017.

Don’t miss such an unique occasion to participate in our conference. Great lectures will be provided by successfull and well-known dentists from Poland and abroad!! On Sunday 10.02.2016 was held the second edition of "Walk through the Pomorzany" event for English Program, and the fifth edition for the polish. This event broke every possible records! In previous years, we were walking up to 170 people, this year we have achieved the result of 301 people !!!
Three hundred ONE PERSON !!!
Students from older years take under their wings group of the freshmens, who were guided by Corda representatives, students from English Division and also IFMSA ED representative. We are sure that after such a walk one one get lost on the way to the first lecture :) This was the perfect opportunity to know each better other and get to know how pums life looks like.

In this year Tramwaj zwany pożądaniem (Tram called desire) runs again on tracks along streets of Szczecin. Each year, an annual action is intended to raise HIV/AIDS awerness organized by International Association of Medical Students (IFMSA) Poland and abroad in various forms. This educational-party tram was also taking students to the final destination - Juwenalia (students' festival). Educators were asking about HIV/AIDS and STI and answering for all the questions according to those diseases, lots of leaflets and gadgets were given out to people during this action. Great experience, great fun and great people! Come and join us during the next edition! See you! :)

20 maja na ulice Szczecina, już kolejny rok z rzędu, wyjechał nietypowy tramwaj - Tramwaj Zwany Pożądaniem.
Celem tej ogólnopolskiej akcji, organizowanej dzięki wsparciu fundacji Pozytywnie Otwarci, jest dotarcie do jak największej liczby studentów, a także innych mieszkańców miasta. Nasi SCORA edukatorzy uświadamiali ich na temat wirusa HIV i innych zakażeń przenoszonych drogą płciową. Wszystko to odbywało się w przystępnej formie i wesołej atmosferze naszego imprezowego tramwaju.
Jak co roku, po przyozdobieniu pojazdu, wraz z ekipą Edukatorów, wyruszyliśmy z zajezdni w kilkugodzinną przejażdżkę po mieście. Kierownik Imprezy z megafonem, na każdym przystanku zachęcał przechodniów do dołączenia do zabawy, a piękne Edukatorki i przystojni Edukatorzy, w policyjnych czapkach, rozdawali ulotki informacyjne, przeróżne gadżety, no i oczywiście, dzięki naszemu sponsorowi - firmie Unimil, prezerwatywy, które są najlepszą metodą ochrony przed zakażeniem wirusem HIV. Zainteresowanie akcją było bardzo duże, choć na początku ludzie niepewnie przyłączali się do zabawy. Wszyscy za to chętnie odpowiadali na nasze pytania i z uwagą słuchali wyjaśnień, gdy rozwiewaliśmy wątpliwości i obalaliśmy, wciąż bardzo powszechne mity.
Trasa naszego tramwaju była tak ułożona, aby dowieźć studentów na odbywające się tego dnia koncerty z okazji Juwenaliów, na których także rozdawaliśmy ulotki.
Na początku podróży towarzyszyła nam telewizja TVP Szczecin, dzięki czemu, w wieczornym wydaniu "Kroniki" można było zobaczyć relację z akcji, a także Radio Eska, które w całej Polsce objęło akcję patronatem medialnym.
Wydarzenie zostało także objęte patronatem Prezydenta Miasta Szczecina.

Here is a new story of SCORE adventure of Ahmad(4th year ED medicine) and Maja(2nd year medicine) in Russia...

It is always a dream to live life of a scientist for a month, we were lucky to get accepted in the SCORE program for last summer in Russia. One of us- Ahmad- was accepted for Gyno-Oncology department , where was able to watch and participate in everyday surgeries, analyse micro-metastasis in breast cancer, and Maja in Radiology&Diagnostic Center learning new techniques and methods . Although the hosting comitee was not on the level of our expectation in terms of hosting and arranging the project, it was a pleasure meeting people from all around the world, sharing knowledge, culture, experiences and friendship.
From the beginning of the day the excitement and adventures started; waking up early to catch the bus to hospital, joining the rounds, surgeries, talking to patients, trying to arrange a lunch with the rest of the group, to just making the best every evening with different activities from just exploring the city to going to museums, special events and of course having the best nightlife we could handle for our next morning.
Every day, was a whole new adventure that will be in our minds forever, we just hope that we could continue filling our dreams every year with such amazing programs.

IFMSA-Poland O.Szczecin English Division visiting kindergarden for Teddy Bear Action where they had the chance to share their medical knowledge with 3&5 years old English speaking children's. Teddy bears, fun, experience filled the place.
