Hanna Szymborska is a lecturer in economics at the Open University, UK. Her research interests include economics of inequality, household finance, financial macroeconomics, and history of economic thought. Hanna is committed to promoting diversity in the economics profession. She has published in peer-reviewed journals (E-Finanse, 12(2)), co-authored in policy magazines (Queries, Summer 2015, Issue 7), and contributed chapters to monographs including “Michal Kalecki in the 21st century” (edited by J. Toporowski and L. Mamica, Palgrave Macmillan 2014), “Rosa Luxemburg: A Permanent Challenge for Political Economy” (edited by J.O. Delheim and F.O. Wolff, Palgrave Macmillan 2017), “Financialisation and the Economy” (edited by K. Opolski and A. Gemzik-Salwach, Routledge 2017), and “Challenges of Financialisation in the Latin American Export-led Growth Model” (edited by N. Levy and J. Bustamante, Routledge, forthcoming). She has also co-edited the translation of Tadeusz Kowalik’s “Rosa Luxemburg. Theory of accumulation and imperialism” (with J. Toporowski, Palgrave Macmillan 2014).

Hanna Szymborska wykłada ekonomię na Uniwersytecie Otwartym w Wielkiej Brytanii. Jej zainteresowania badawcze obejmują ekonomię nierówności, finanse gospodarstw domowych, makroekonomię finansową i historię myśli ekonomicznej. Jest oddana promowaniu różnorodności w ekonomii. Publikuje w czasopismach naukowych (E-Finanse, 12(2)), magazynach politycznych (Queries, Lato 2015, Numer 7), i książkach naukowych, m.in. “Michal Kalecki in the 21st century” (red. J.
