📍 Wyjazd studyjny studentów kierunku EFMAS
Studenci kierunku Economics and Finance Management in Agri-food Sector (EFMAS) wzięli udział w wyjeździe studyjnym zorganizowanym w ramach przedmiotu „Enterprises and institutions of the agri-food sector”. Opiekunami wyjazdu byli: dr Patrycja Beba, mgr Wiktor Kupsik oraz mgr Kacper Mańkowski.
Naszą wyprawę rozpoczęliśmy już o 6:30 rano spod budynku Uczelni, dlatego można śmiało powiedzieć, że wyjazd od samego początku miał charakter wymagający — przynajmniej dla tych, którzy lubią dłużej pospać. 😉
Pierwszym punktem programu była Wielkopolska Gildia Rolno-Ogrodnicza S.A., gdzie pracownicy przybliżyli studentom zasady funkcjonowania giełdy rolno-ogrodniczej. Dowiedzieliśmy się, że jest to ważne miejsce dla okolicznych, często mniejszych producentów, którzy mogą sprzedawać swoje produkty i zaopatrywać rynek poznański, w tym mniejsze sklepy, targowiska oraz sektor HoReCa. Studenci poznali także historię powstania giełdy, sięgającą lat 90.
Kolejnym odwiedzonym miejscem była Wielkopolska Grupa Producentów Owoców FRUCTIS Sp. z o.o. Pan Andrzej Sarnowski oprowadził nas po firmie i opowiedział o jej działalności oraz procesach produkcyjnych. FRUCTIS zajmuje się skupem owoców od sadowników oraz ich eksportem za granicę. W ramach dywersyfikacji działalności firma zainwestowała również w nowoczesną linię produkcyjną do przetwarzania jabłek na potrzeby m.in. cukiernictwa, produkcji soków i innych branż przetwórstwa spożywczego.
Na zakończenie, w ramach niespodzianki, odwiedziliśmy Sanktuarium w Licheniu, gdzie mogliśmy pokazać naszym zagranicznym studentom część polskiej kultury. Studenci mieli okazję pomodlić się w intencji zdania egzaminów, a doktoranci — pomyślnej obrony doktoratu. 😊

📍 Study trip of EFMAS students
Students of Economics and Finance Management in Agri-food Sector (EFMAS) took part in a study trip organized as part of the course “Enterprises and institutions of the agri-food sector”. The trip was supervised by dr Patrycja Beba, mgr Wiktor Kupsik and mgr Kacper Mańkowski.
We started our journey at 6:30 a.m. from the University building, so it is fair to say that the trip was quite demanding from the very beginning — at least for those who enjoy sleeping a little longer. 😉
The first point on our agenda was Wielkopolska Gildia Rolno-Ogrodnicza S.A., where the employees introduced students to the functioning of the agricultural and horticultural wholesale market. We learned that it is an important place for local, often smaller producers, who can sell their products there and supply the Poznań market, including smaller shops, marketplaces and the HoReCa sector. Students also learned about the history of the market, which dates back to the 1990s.
The next place we visited was Wielkopolska Grupa Producentów Owoców FRUCTIS Sp. z o.o. Mr Andrzej Sarnowski showed us around the company and explained how it operates, as well as what the production process looks like. FRUCTIS purchases fruit from orchard growers and exports it abroad. As part of its diversification strategy, the company has also invested in a modern production line for processing apples for sectors such as confectionery, juice production and other branches of the food processing industry.
At the end of the trip, as a surprise, we visited the Sanctuary in Licheń, where we had the opportunity to show our international students a part of Polish culture. Students could pray for success in their exams, while PhD candidates could pray for a successful dissertation defense. 😊
