📢 New Publication Alert!
We are excited to share our latest research published in Journal of Zhejiang University SCIENCE B:
"Pig meniscus single-cell sequencing reveals highly active red zone chondrocyte populations involved in stemness maintenance and vascularization development"
Meniscus injuries are a common challenge, and current treatments often fall short in promoting effective healing. In this study, we provide critical evidence supporting the use of pigs as a biological model for meniscal degeneration and for developing advanced orthopaedic therapies.
Moreover, our research confirms that the cellular composition of the pig meniscus closely resembles that of humans, further validating pigs as a robust model for orthopaedic research.
