Poznan University of Technology (PUT) has been providing higher technical education for nearly 100 years. PUT provides education to about 20,000 students across 10 faculties, 31 fields of study and over a hundred specializations. Over 1,200 academic teachers oversee the process of education and provide students with their support. The rich educational offer of the university meets the requirements

of employers both in Poland and abroad. Being one of the leading technical universities in Poland, PUT is focused on following the quality teaching and research standards of European and world-class universities. In 2016 the university was actively involved in 175 research projects and a significant part of the university budget was allocated for research. In January of 2017, PUT was the only Polish institution of higher education to be awarded this year Horizon 2020 Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowships grant. We are proud to have 3 laureates of Foundation for Polish Science Prize.We are also proud to have scientists holding top positions in Polish Academy of Sciences and are members of numerous international scientific societies. The award is given to institutions of higher education whose contributions have strengthened the position of Poland in the world of international science. In the most recent Spanish National Research Council ranking, PUT achieved the third place among other Polish universities for number of citations. PUT has nearly 250 active Erasmus+ agreements that enable nearly 1,000 students a stay abroad. It also has over 100 agreements with educational institutions worldwide for joint research and student and academic staff exchange.

International Staff Week at Poznan University of Technology
Poznan University of Technology International Relations Office cordially invites colleagues from our partner universities to attend Staff Week, scheduled for June 8–12, 2026.
During Staff week, participants will have the opportunity to:
• Exchange good practices and learn from real case studies shared by IRO specialists.
• Take part in job-shadowing activities, offering a closer look at how our office works and how we handle international cooperation.
• Strengthen partnerships, explore possibilities for new projects, and expand professional networks.
• Discover Poznan through a guided city tour showcasing its history and unique character.

Hands-On Learning Across Borders

In October–November, Poznan University of Technology International Relations Office warmly welcomed students from Kazakhstan - Karaganda State Technical University! 🇰🇿
Students joined us for a short-term internship at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport, where they had the chance to deepen their theoretical knowledge and gain hands-on practical experience.
