140 graduates of the University of Rzeszów received their diplomas and took the solemn medical oath. On that day, the Podkarpacie Philharmonic was filled to capacity with graduates, their families, loved ones, and invited guests. For these young doctors, the event marked the symbolic culmination of six years of study and the beginning of a new stage in their professional lives.

The ceremony took place on September 6 and marked the sixth graduation for the medical program in the history of the University of Rzeszów, as well as the third for the Medicine program taught in English. Diplomas were awarded to 128 graduates of the medical program and 12 graduates of the English-language program.
For the graduates, the graduation ceremony marked the conclusion of their six-year course of study, but also the beginning of new challenges: internships, further education, the choice of a specialization, and their first independent professional decisions. The day before, the graduates had taken the Final Medical Examination.

The inauguration of the academic year is the most important event in academic culture. On October 1, 2026, at the Podkarpacka Philharmonic, university authorities, staff, and students officially launched the new academic year.

"I hereby declare the 2026/2027 academic year at the University of Rzeszów open. *Quod felix faustum fortunatumque sit*," announced the Rector of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Adam Reich.

We are proud to share that the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝘇𝗲𝘀𝘇𝗼𝘄, through its 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿, has been accredited by the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 as an 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 in the field of technology transfer from science to business.

The University is now one of only 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 holding this accreditation - and the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 with this status.
