The Golden Emblem of the Highest Quality QI PRODUCT 2026 and the QI Pearl 2026 for Akademia WSEI
The first education and practical training system in Poland based on the sensory processing sensitivity model, implemented by the WSEI University, has gained recognition from experts. The programme, offered as part of the Psychology degree course, has been awarded the Quality International 2026 Gold Emblem for Highest Quality in the Product category. Furthermore, our University has also received a special award – the QI Pearl 2026 – as a three-time winner of Gold Emblem.

European Youth Week 2026 will kick-off on April 24! European Youth Week 2026 is an event organised by the European Commission on every second year to celebrate and promote youth engagement, participation and active citizenship all over Europe and beyond.

The main theme of the campaign is "All in for Change" meaning the shared engagement of young people and the EU in highlighting what matters to each other.
European Youth Week (EYW) 2026 will be held from Friday, 24 April to Friday, 1 May 2026, culminating in Lublin closing event, scheduled for 30 April 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Plac Litewski.

The Medical University Of Lublin ranks high in the LEK 2026 medical university rankings!
We are pleased to announce that the Medical University of Lublin was ranked among the top medical universities in Poland after the spring session of the 2026 Final Medical Examination. In the latest published ranking, the Medical University of Lublin - UMLub came just behind the podium, taking 4th place among Polish medical universities with a score of 161.54 points. In the spring session, 672 people took the Final Medical Examination, and 662 of them passed.
In total, 11,030 people took the LEK 2026 spring exam throughout Poland, with a national average score of 157.1 points.

New internationalisation initiatives Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Lublinie under the NAWA Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej project “Together from Day One”
Intercultural workshops, professional adaptation support for international students based, among other things, on instructional videos, and a promotional campaign targeting key recruitment markets are just some of the many activities planned as part of a project supporting internationalisation at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, which will start on 1 May 2026.

Discover Turystyczny Lublin through film - new trail now open! 🎬
Lublin Film Trail is a specially designed film route that leads through 14 venues connected with films and TV series produced in Lublin. Each stop introduces visitors to productions set in the city - from well-known feature films and tv series to lesser-known projects that turned Lublin’s distinctive architecture and city spaces into film sets.

The trail runs through the city centre and the Old Town including two sites beyond the main area - Lublin Village Open Air Museum and Majdanek State Museum - both of which have also hosted film productions. Each stop on Lublin Film Trail is identified by a distinctive film strip-shaped plaque, together with a QR code linking to information about the site and production. The project reflects growing popularity of film tourism, which involves visiting places known from films and TV series. Undertakings like this let visitors experience cities through film stories and learn about behind-the-scenes production.

The ECB Scholarship for Women is an initiative supporting female scholars from low-income background in pursuing a Master’s degree in the field of economics, statistics, computing and engineering.
the scholarship will be offered to 15 outstanding candidates who will:
📌Receive a grant of €10,000
📌Attend a study visit at the European Central Bank with dedicated activities, such as meeting with the ECB Women in Leadership Network
📌Gain insight into the ECB’s central banking and banking supervision functions
📌Meet fellow scholars and join the alumni community
📌Receive advice and mentoring from an ECB economist or expert in the field of banking supervision, statistics, engineering or computing.
To be considered eligible for the programme, the candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria:
➡A woman and a national of an EU country;
➡Currently enrolled, or are about to enroll, in a master’s course in economics, statistics, engineering or computing at a European university or business school;
➡Facing a funding gap that may prevent them from pursuing their studies;
➡Completed an undergraduate degree with excellent grades (i.e. for bachelor’s degree) .
Applications can be submitted until 6 May 2026.
