14 September 2017 is the deadline to apply for the Individual Fellowship (doctoral candidates and post-doctorate scholars) under Maria Skłodowska-Curie Action (Horizon 2020).

The goal of the Individual Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers, wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.

Individual Fellowships provide opportunities to acquire and transfer new knowledge and to work on research and innovation in a European context (EU Member States and Associated Countries) or outside Europe. The scheme particularly supports the return and reintegration of researchers from outside Europe who have previously worked here. It also develops or helps to restart the careers of individual researchers that show great potential, considering their experience.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees are projects funded by the European Commission under Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ programme.

Visit the website below to learn about all the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMDs) that will be offering EU-funded scholarships for courses in the following academic year. Most consortia will require applications to be submitted between October and January, for courses starting the following academic year.

- EMJMD projects offer only scholarships at the Master's level
- Eligible and available study fields vary from project to project and are limited by project consortia.
- EMJMD projects are not limited to candidates of Iranian, Iraqi or Yemeni origin, but are open to candidates of all nationalities (special requirements or conditions may apply)

Dear all,

We would like to inform you that Erasmus Mundus Action 2 SALAM 2 project ended on 14 July and we are now preparing a final report. A big thank you to all of you who participated in and supported the project in the last four years. Also, we would like to congratulate all our scholarship holders on their academic achievements and wish them all the best in the future. Well done!

Please note that we will not be able to organise another edition of SALAM. Erasmus Mundus came to an end and as of 2014, certain activities supported up to now by Erasmus Mundus will be part of Erasmus+, the new EU programme for education, training, youth and sport. Please contact an international relations office at your home university to learn if your university participates in any of the actions and if there are any opportunities available.

Let us please inform you that in the SALAM project, 116 scholarship holders from Iran, Iraq and Yemen visited our EU partner universities for studies (BA, MA and PhD) or research and training (post-doctorate and staff).

Moreover, in the first group, there were 57 credit seeking students (student exchange) studying at European partner universities and 36 degree-seeking students at MA and PhD level.

The first edition of Erasmus Mundus SALAM project has reached its official end today.

We are pleased to announce that MARHABA, another Erasmus Mundus project has opened the 2nd call for applications. Citizens of Iran, Iraq and Yemen can apply for various scholarships. The deadline is 18th January 2016.

For SALAM scholarship holders: Please bear in mind you cannot apply for a scholarship at the same level at which you studied within SALAM.

The coordinating institution is Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

Dear Candidates,

since we're receiving some emails asking us about the results of selection I would like to inform you again that results should be known in May - to be clear, it doesn't mean May 1st nor first days of May, it could be the end of the month as well.

Also I want to repeat than any information about the results of selection is valid ONLY when it comes from the official email send by the Project Coordinator : [email protected] .

No other person has ANY right to say ANYTHING about the results before the results are announced. Any information about the selection results IS NOT VALID as long as it do come from a person who is not entitled to give it. Please do not believe in anything said about the results before the official information is announced.
