Last Thursday, our students proved that learning English is important… but bowling skills are also very serious business 😄
Everyone had their own unique style.
Some went for power.
Some went for precision.
Some… just hoped for a miracle.
But honestly? Every style was beautiful. Dramatic spins, unexpected curves, confident strikes and very creative “almost strikes” — we saw it all! 🎳✨

And the winners?
🥇 First place – Maksat (the unstoppable bowling machine!)
🥈 Second place – Dogukan (precision and focus level: expert!)
🥉 Third place – Zeynep (grace, style, and strong finishing energy!)

Huge congratulations to our champions! 👏

See you at the next adventure! 🎳

But the most important thing?

We were together. We laughed. We cheered for each other. We celebrated every single strike — and every single miss.

Thank you all for the amazing time and great energy.

This is what learning languages in Warsaw is really about — connection, fun, and unforgettable moments. 💙

As every year, we celebrated the sweetest holiday together 🍩
Thank you for being with us 🙂
A long, long time ago, Fat Thursday was a celebration of saying goodbye to winter and welcoming spring 🌷 It marked the end of Carnival, a time when one thing mattered most – rich, hearty food. Tables were filled with bold flavors: lard, bacon, and other filling dishes.
The tradition reached Poland in the 16th century, but at first it was celebrated mainly in larger cities. In rural areas, Fat Thursday didn’t become popular until the late 19th century. What’s more, the “fat” feasting could last for several days – all the way until the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.

🥧Happy Baklava Day! 🥧

🍯Baklava is a sweet dessert from the Middle East. 🥜 It has thin pastry layers, nuts, and sweet syrup or honey. It tastes delicious! 😋

📜 A bit of history:
👑 Long time ago, in ancient Assyria, people already made early versions of baklava. Later, it became popular in the Ottoman Empire, where chefs perfected it for royal palaces. For centuries, it was considered a luxury dessert. Only in the 19th century, when pastry shops appeared, did baklava become popular among the middle class and available to everybody.

🥧 Baklava around the world:
🇹🇷 Turkey – made with pistachios or walnuts, served with sweet syrup, kaymak (cream) or 🍨ice cream. Gaziantep baklava is even listed by UNESCO as part of the world’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.
🇬🇷 Greece – made with honey and cinnamon and often has 33 layers of pastry, symbolizing the years of Christ’s life.
🇦🇲 Armenia – flavored with warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
🇱🇧 Lebanon – flavored with🌹rose water and 🍊orange blossom water, famous for its delicate taste.
🇮🇷 Iran – light, diamond-shaped, and aromatized with 🌹rose water.
🇦🇱 🇧🇦 🇧🇬 🇭🇷 🇷🇸 🇲🇰 🇲🇪 🇷🇴 🇸🇮 The Balkans and other countries – many 🥜nut variations, often baked for religious holidays and family celebrations.

❓ Did you know ❓
🥧 Baklava is a symbol of happiness and celebration. People make it for 👰🤵weddings, 🎉holidays, and festivals.

😋 Have you tried baklava? Do you like it? Is it popular in your country? If so, how do you prepare it in your country, and what flavors do you use?
