Kamila Biernat has recently completed a rotating internship at Evidensia Animal Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. In February, she will begin an internship at the University of Bologna. She graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in the spring of 2024. Throughout her veterinary studies, she gained hands-on clinical experience by working summers as a Veterinary Care Assistant at animal hospitals in Sweden.
In the later years of her studies, Kamila developed a strong interest in research, presenting case studies and literature reviews on the topic of dog and cat medicine at student conferences. Her main areas of interest include emergency and critical care, anaesthesia and pain management, as well as antibiotic stewardship.
