Attention students:

As you may be aware there have been multiple staff changes over the last 2 months. We would like to inform everyone that Ms. Maria Lukasiewicz has returned to her post after a long personal absence. She will be joining Mr. Adam Lewanski and Mr. Michal Dabrowski in the office. We ask for your patience in this time of transition so that we maybe able to provide you with the best service possible. All inquires should be directed to the [email protected] inbox, wait times for a response may exceed the norm for the next week but we are working tirelessly to resolve all issues. In addition, Dr. Aleksandra Jarczewska will be absent from the institute until the 3rd of July due to personal health issues.

Thank you for your patience.

Attention students,

Below you will find information about Erasmus. Please read carefully if you are going next year.
"Dear Students,

1) Please find attached a ‘Step by Step’ guide in English for the outgoing Erasmus students from the University of Warsaw, issued by The International Relations Office. The guide will provide you with all the necessary information about the documents and procedures required before, during and after your mobility. Please read all the sections very carefully and contact IRO if you have any questions.

2) The International Relations Office at UW is organising an info meeting for all the future Erasmus students who don’t speak Polish and who would like to receive all the information in English.

Please confirm whether you are going to attend the info meeting - [email protected] (there is no need to confirm it again if you’ve already done it).

The meeting will take place on Monday, April 24, at 10.00 am in the Rectorate building of the University of Warsaw (UW campus in Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28). During the meeting I will present the procedures and documents required by the Erasmus programme, which will be necessary for your mobility.

The meeting will last between 2-4 hours so we will have plenty of time for a question and answer session.

This is the only meeting in English we are going to hold in English, so please do your best to come.

The Rectorate is the last building in the campus, as you enter the campus from Krakowskie Przedmieście. We will meet in a room on the ground floor, called “Sala Brudzińskiego” (there is no name on the door so please follow my directions). When you enter the building, turn right in the main hall (don’t try to go up the stairs with the red carpet – that’s the staircase for the Rector J). Walk along the corridor and up to the staircase at the end – our room will be on your left, just next to the cloakroom.

If you know anyone, who does not speak Polish and is also nominated as an Erasmus student, please let them know about this meeting, in case they haven’t received my email.

If you speak Polish, please let me know that you don’t need correspondence in English and come to the meeting organised on April 26 for Polish-speaking students.

With best regards from our IRO,

Ewa Makal-O’Hara
