After one year of volunteering at the Center for National and International Relations Offices of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, I can confidently say this has been one of the most complete, enriching, exciting, and challenging experiences of my life.
Throughout this journey, I have developed both personally and professionally. I have become more proactive, less shy, more responsible, and better organized, among many other things. I have also had the opportunity to see how a university truly works behind the scenes: the effort, coordination, and dedication of people whose work is not always visible, but absolutely essential. This experience has given me an even deeper respect for what they do every day.
It has also been a very fun, interesting, and incredibly valuable learning experience to be in charge of the Wrocław Tech social media. I truly hope you have enjoyed the content as much as I have enjoyed creating it, and I have always done my very best to share it in the most engaging and meaningful way I could.
From the very beginning, I was welcomed as part of the team. I always felt that my work mattered and was genuinely appreciated, and for that, I am truly grateful to each and every one of them.
A special thank you goes to my coordinator, Anna Iwanowska, for her constant support and for making my integration so smooth, always ensuring I felt valued in my role.
During this time, I had the chance to participate in events with students, academic staff, and representatives from other universities, meeting inspiring people from whom I have learned a great deal.
Once again, thank you to the university, and especially to the International Relations Offices. I will always carry this experience with me, it has helped me grow in ways I will value for years to come.
