Today we concluded our Second PIA-PESS Mentoring Program!

Special thanks to Iván Román, Migdaliz López, Brian Ferrer, Santiago Cartagena, Diego García, all participating mentors and mentees, Lilly del Caribe, and Amgen for making this program a successful one!

We hope to continue bringing the gap between industry and academia and helping our members on their professional growth!

Join us in our Soft Skills Workshop, Second Edition!

The event’s theme will be “Speaking Up: Effective Presentation Skills”. 📢🗣️ Our speaker, Luis F. Torrens, will share some advices for better presentation, communication, engagement with the audience, among others! It will take place in-person in C-PEDaL facilities on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 10:30am.

PESS would like to invite the UPRM Student Community to our community service event! The event will be held at Villa Michelle Animal Shelter on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9:30am-11:45am.

We will have the opportunity to help the workers with some tasks assigned, donate articles mentioned in the QR code or send money directly to them. This event will be open to the public, so feel free to invite your friends!

The new date for the “Pharmaceutical Industry Career Day” event is on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at UPRM Students Center 3rd Floor.

There will be 7 biopharmaceutical companies where you will have the opportunity to:

• Connect with recruiters
• Learn about career opportunities
• Obtain insight about the pharmaceutical industry
• And more!

The logistic of this event will be:

• 9:00-10:15AM Info-Booths (Students Center 3rd Floor)
• 10:30AM-12:30PM Pharmaceutical Industry Panel (II 202-203)
• 1:15-3:00PM Info-Booths (Students Center 3rd Floor)
