Although he regained consciousness while still on the pitch, and tests revealed no significant abnormalities, the player remained under medical observation. This case raises an important question for any healthcare professional.

Many patients report feeling better after concussion.
However, improvement in symptoms does not necessarily indicate functional recovery.
Vestibular function, balance, visual motion sensitivity, oculomotor control, and cervical function may still be impaired, which can affect a patient's ability to return to sport, work, and daily activities.

An open day, lots of sharing and the future of rehabilitation in motion.

On 17 September, we welcomed researchers, healthcare professionals and partners to our first Open Day – PhysioSensing Academy.

Between demonstrations of our solutions – PhysioSensing, Balance Basic, Balance Rehab Station, Otoneuro System and Kine-Sim Dynamic – and discussions on applications in a scientific context, the morning was all about collaboration. 🤝

A special mention goes to the presentation by Prof. Juliana Moreira, a researcher at the Rehabilitation Research Centre at Politécnico do Porto, who shared her experience of conducting scientific research using our technology.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made this morning unforgettable. 🙌
