Today, on the International Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief, we remember the lives lost and communities affected by violence driven by hatred, intolerance and the misuse of religious identity. 🕊️
From the prefectures of the Central African Republic to Nigeria’s diverse landscape, our work reflects the power of inclusive dialogue in diverse societies. 🌍 In Nigeria alone, KAICIID
has supported the Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace, bringing together 100 Christian and Muslim religious leaders, while supporting around 20 local initiatives each year. 🤝
Today, we honour the victims and reaffirm our commitment to protecting , and the right to live according to one’s religion or belief without fear.
