MIPA - Master in International Public Affairs

The professional English language MA program MIPA - Master in International Public Affairs students of the University of Bucharest (Universitatea din București) who are enrolled in the double degree track with Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo participated this week to a study visit at the Regional Council of Marche. The event is part of the series of meetings with practitioners that constitute a significant part of the hands-on training offered within the program. We thank the Regional Council of Marche for the warm welcome and meaningful discussions.

These days three of our students participate in the Summer School of the European Investment Bank (27 June - 9 July, Luxembourg). Together with students from about a dozen of top European universities, they engage in lectures, group discussions and case studies to gain a deep understanding of the mission and impact of the EIB Group and how it answers current challenges of the EU and beyond.

All courses of the Summer School are delivered by EIB Group staff members who deal with operational, financial, policy, credit, legal and technical challenges on a daily basis. Summer School faculty members show practical approaches to problems which are, by nature, multidisciplinary.

Participants get the unique opportunity to get the faculty’s insider view on what it means to be part of the EIB Group and how staff members apply theoretical concepts to very practical challenges of global impact.

Following the successful completion of the school, students of the MIPA - Master in International Public Affairs will also be granted additional credits as part of their individualised curricular plan.
