IATA Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) are independent training facilities that are authorized to teach IATA programs covering the fields of travel & tourism, aviation, cargo and dangerous goods regulations. Romanian-American University of Bucharest was the first university in Romania to be authorized by IATA Montreal as ATC, in 2011. This accreditation ensures the university the right to organiz
e and conduct the courses IATA/UFTAA Foundation & EBT and IATA/UFTAA Consultant. Authorization was granted based on demonstrated instructional expertise as well as the institution's overall ability to provide quality training. Since 2011, all the examination sessions organized by IATA Montreal in Romania, taking place on a global scale, 4 times every year ( March, June, September and December), have been hosted by the Romanian-American University.
