Between January 19-24, the Romanian-American University hosted a group of 22 students, led by Prof. Véronique Pérès from Université Côte d’Azur, for the short-term blended mobility programme “Finance, Taxation and Investment Decisions in a European Context”. 🇷🇴🇫🇷

It was coordinated by Associate Professor Mihai Sebea, PhD, Director of International Relations, Lecturer Dumitru Mihai Nedelescu, PhD, Dean of the School of Finance and Accounting, and Lecturer Luminița Horhotă, PhD, Director of the Department of Finance, Credit & Accounting, with the support of the Erasmus Office.

The programme combined lectures, case studies, and collaborative activities focused on taxation and fiscal pressure in the EU, risk and investment decisions, and Cost-Benefit Analysis. A simulation game on international cooperation complemented the academic content, alongside thematic visits to the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the National Bank of Romania. 🌎

This initiative reflects the Romanian-American University’s commitment to high-quality international education and strengthens academic cooperation at the European level, laying the groundwork for future joint programmes and student mobility opportunities.

The training program Unlocking Effective International Recruitment and Partnerships: Insights from the Moroccan Experience, included visits to the Hassan I University of Settat and the Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech.

At Hassan I University, we were honored to be welcomed by the President Abdellatif Moukrim, the Vice-President for Scientific Research and Cooperation, the Director of the Innovation City and faculty members from the Schools of Business and Letters.

At Cadi Ayyad University, the delegation was received by Professor Hafidi, Vice-President for Cooperation, alongside distinguished professors from various faculties.

These meetings focused on enhancing collaboration between RAU and the Moroccan universities. Discussions explored opportunities in Erasmus programs, joint research, publications, and broader academic projects.
The meetings pave the way for building strong partnerships with the two Marrocan universities.🇷🇴🇲🇦

Unlocking International Collaboration in Morocco🇲🇦

This week, a delegation of six representatives from RAU is participating in the training program "Unlocking Effective International Recruitment and Partnerships: Insights from the Moroccan Experience," organized by our partner Flexyclass.

The program, which spans Rabat and other key locations in Morocco, focuses on innovative strategies for international student recruitment and fostering sustainable academic partnerships.

RAU's participation in this program is financially supported by the Erasmus+ programme and underscores our dedication to fostering meaningful global collaborations and implementing best practices in international higher education.

On the first day, the Romanian delegation had the privilege of being welcomed by Her Excellency Maria Ciobanu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Morocco.
