International Conference Modelling and Development of Intelligent Systems The aim of the conference is to bring together computer scientists, mathematicians, researchers, students, interested in the topics of the conference.

The conference is organized by the Research Center in Informatics and Information Technology and the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Informatics Division from the Faculty of Sciences, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. The conference welcomes submissions of original papers on all aspects of modelling and development of intelligent systems ranging from concepts and theoretical developments to advanced technologies and innovative applications.

MDIS 2026 in Sibiu – Submission Deadline Extended to 30 August

The new important dates are:
🟩 August 30, 2026 – Deadline for registration and full paper submission
🟩 September 30, 2026 – Notification of acceptance
🟩 November 12, 2026 – Deadline for fee payment
🟩 November 15, 2026 – Deadline for submission of the final (camera-ready) version of the accepted papers
🟩 November 26–28, 2026 – Conference dates

Original papers accepted after the peer-review process and presented at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings. The proceedings of the last four MDIS editions were published by Springer in the Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series. For MDIS 2026, the proposal for publishing the proceedings in the same Springer CCIS series has been submitted and is currently under evaluation.
The CCIS series is abstracted and indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, and Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for inclusion in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS).
The official language of the conference is English.

Over the years, MDIS has become a consistent meeting point for researchers, academics, and professionals interested in intelligent systems and their applications.
