On Saturday the 12th of February, 4 teams of MISIS battled against other universities from Moscow in the first Bobsleigh start- push student championship of Moscow and Moscow region.
As a result, the team composed of Аббас Мухаммад, Тинаше Мвудуду, Тосин Акинтоби и Мухаммад Хамидов took the bronze medal in the 4 seats bobsleigh.

Bobsleigh being a sport born in Switzerland, the Swiss-Russian team composed of Шакти Корте и Лилия Вахатова received the silver medal in the women's 2 seats bobsleigh race.
MISIS bobsleigh teams would like to thank the UMAM and the "Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation of Moscow Oblast" and the "Centre for Innovative Competencies in Physical Education and Student Sport RGU named Kosygin".

The Russian Academy of Sciences was founded by Peter the Great on February 8 (new style), 1724 as the Saint Petersburg Academy of Sciences. Its name varied over the years. It was first named the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1917. In 1925, it became the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. After the dissolution of the USSR, it once again became the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Day of Russian Science aims at recognizing the role of science in the development of the country and its society. This professional observance honors the achievements of the Russian and Soviet scientists many of whom are well-known outside Russia as well for their significant contributions to world science.

Уже почти год я борюсь с онкологическим заболеванием - раком крови. И сейчас мне необходима ваша поддержка. Сейчас я прохожу лечение препаратом «Биспонса». С большой вероятностью его использование приведёт к вено- окклюзионной болезни печени, поэтому мне необходимо другое сопроводительное лекарство: «Дефителио». Оно не зарегистрировано в России, получить его по программе ОМС или по квоте нельзя. А купить его самостоятельно, прежде всего вследствие его огромной стоимости, не представляется возможным. Стоимость препарата около 7 миллионов рублей (конкретно: 6919000). 0). Two of our members and Allan Moore today got a chance to meet Sergei Kuzmin the Director of Olympic Reserve School in Ulianovsk… The main aim of the meeting was to organise future visits for ISC to Ulyanovsk and international events.
This year in summer we had 5 representatives from ISC who went to Ulianovsk. They participated in different activities and meet other students from Ulyanovsk.
