The Start of a New Academic Year at Machon HaMesh! 🚀

We're back from our summer break and excited to share the highlights from our opening ceremony!

On September 1st, we officially marked the start of the new academic year, welcoming over 30 new students!

The ceremony was filled with warmth and heartfelt wishes. Our students were greeted by the President of Jewish University Avraham Bekerman, Vice President Eli Riss, Rector Alexander Lebedev, as well as the university and college administration.

We wish all our students great success in the coming academic year and a happy, sweet New Year as we approach Rosh Hashanah!

Trip to St. Petersburg 🧳

After the graduation ceremony, the 11th-grade graduates, together with their teachers and mentors, set off on a journey through St. Petersburg!

They visited many interesting places, with the key stop at the house where the Rebbe Rayatz once lived.

Later, our graduates went on a city tour and took a nighttime boat excursion🌃

We're sharing the atmosphere in our little photo report! ✨

Mazal Tov! It's Chuppah season! 💍

What a month full of wonderful news! Four of our students and graduates have stood under the chuppah and established Jewish homes in Israel!

It's especially heartwarming to note that some of their grooms are also graduates of our university's men's campus. We couldn't be prouder to say: our university doesn't just educate — it helps build families!

May our newlyweds merit to build a lasting home, firm in the foundations of Torah and mitzvot. Mazal Tov ve'Siman Tov!🕊️

Graduation at Machon HaMesh! 🎓

On June 21, the Moscow Jewish Community Center's amphitheater became a true hub of joy, tears and pride — graduation day for our university students, college students and 11th-grade schoolgirls!

Textbooks are returned, exams are passed! Ahead lies a whole new chapter — full of exciting opportunities and big ambitions.

Warm words of congratulations came from President Avraham Bekerman, Vice President Eli Riss, and Rector Alexander Lebedev. Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar delivered an inspiring speech, reminding everyone that the strength of our people lies in constant growth and the pursuit of knowledge. Never stop moving forward!

The most emotional moment, of course, was the diploma ceremony. Our university and college graduates received not only state-recognized higher education diplomas, but also bachelor's degrees from Touro College as part of the international cooperation program. A double achievement! 👏

After the official part, the graduates enjoyed a festive reception, gifts and an unforgettable entertainment program from Jewish Students Association 🔥

Portfolio Review at the Design College

In June our Design College held the final portfolio reviews of student projects. This is more than just an exam session — it's an opportunity to see the results of a semester's worth of dedicated collaboration between students and faculty.

One of the key features of our program is the interdisciplinary approach. From the very first year, students work on a single project across multiple disciplines simultaneously: composition, design engineering, propaedeutics and information technology. This format helps them deeply understand the full design process — from the initial idea to its final visual ex*****on.

Congratulations to all our students on successfully completing the semester! Wishing you well-deserved holidays and many more creative achievements ahead!

Kosher Fest at Machon HaMesh was a true celebration of knowledge, hands-on experience and pure joy.

The atmosphere was warm, lively, and unforgettable. Every guest left with something special — whether it was a new skill, a deep insight or just a huge smile.

🐐 One of the most talked-about moments? Milking a real live goat. None of the girls had ever tried it before and the excitement was real.

“I never thought I could do it myself — it was incredible!” – one student shared.

🐟 Another station turned into a real adventure: a fishing pool, live fish and a tasting of kosher fish — fresh, fun and delicious.

From learning how to check greens under a microscope to preparing kosher desserts, from understanding meat and dairy to the spiritual side of kashrut — the festival had it all.

The evening ended with a big gift raffle 🎁

Thank you to the Machon HaMesh campus team and to all the guests who were able to come! 💙
