Students told prospective students about Tula State University
The Open Day "Tula State University through the eyes of students" took place — an event that will be remembered for a long time! For the first time, the organization was entirely run by students under the guidance of mentors, and the result exceeded all expectations.
At the event, interactive platforms were set up, which captivated the guests.
The Institute of Medicine was presented by students of the surgical club, who conducted master classes in improvised operating rooms — from pulmonectomy to tracheal intubation. From the Institute of Law and Management, guests learned how an investigator works at the crime scene and studied a forensic kit. At the location of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, prospective students developed a graphical interface in Python using an application created by third-year students.
The official part of the Open Day was opened by videos telling about the achievements of our students, blurring the line between the audience and the stage. The dance group "Inside" charged the atmosphere of the concert hall with their energetic performance!
In a video message, the rector of Tula State University Oleg Alexandrovich Kravchenko spoke about theuniversity's role in training personnel, international activities, and student support.
A graduate of the V.P. Gryazev Institute of High-Precision Systems, and now the chairperson of the primary trade union organization of students and postgraduates of Tula State University Elizabeth Ivanikova shared information about federal projects, dormitories, scholarships, and creative associations. The relay of speeches was taken over by union activists. The guys conveyed to the audience the idea that the university is not just about studying, but also about opportunities to improve oneself.
A rather serious thematic block "10 main questions about admission" was masterfully played by the duo of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vladislav Viktorovich Kotov and student Alina Azarova.
After the official part, meetings took place in the institutes of Tula State University.
The Open Day proved: Tula State University is not just about studying, but also a space for self-realization. ❤️
