Advanced Engineering Training: Tula State University Launches New Professional Training Programs
As part of the Rostec.Mechanical Engineering track and the development of a system for advanced engineering training, the Center for Continuing Professional Education and Support of Educational Projects at Tula State University launched two popular professional training programs in March 2026: "Machine and Metalwork Inspector" and "Measuring Instrument and Specialized Tool Inspector."
The theoretical and practical components were taught by faculty from the Department of Instrumentation and Metrology Systems at the measurement laboratory of the S.I. Mosin Technical College. Students mastered key topics, including the theory of tolerances and fits. At the training site, participants developed practical skills necessary for working in manufacturing.
Fourteen Tula State University students studying in the Standardization and Metrology and Quality Management programs successfully completed their training and passed the qualification exam. They were awarded the qualifications of Measuring Instrument and Specialized Tool Inspector and Machine Tool and Metalwork Inspector (Second Class).
The graduates' certificates were ceremoniously presented by Sergei Mikhailovich Nikolsky, Chairman of the Qualification Committee, Head of the Coordinate Measuring Machine Laboratory in the Chief Metrologist's Department of JSC Tulamashzavod, and a graduate of the IMS Department.
