We are proud to welcome to our growing chapter Distinguished Alumni Antoine Tayar. Antoine has built an exceptional career bridging international business leadership, public service and community engagement. With more than three decades of experience, he spent much of his career with multinational companies in Canada and the Middle East before founding ATpublic his own consulting practice in business development, communications, and change management.

Antoine was elected Municipal Councillor and Acting Mayor of Mount Royal, just 5 years after his arrival to Canada, becoming a strong advocate for civic and community causes. His dedication was recognized in 2024 when he received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for public service and volunteerism.

At AUB, Antoine remains deeply involved: he serves on the Advisory Board for North America, mentors students and young alumni, and contributes to the selection process of an alumni trustee board member. He also sits on several business associations, including the Canada-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Currently, he is leading a Business Development and Change Management project with Marina Inc. a major Saudi printing and manufacturing company.

participating today in the Landscape and Playspaces Middle East conference in Riyadh , representing Misk City | مدينة مسك, and presenting on its vision and mission.

The presentation focused on how the Misk City masterplan establishes an ecosystem that reflects innovation, empowers Saudi youth, and advances a sustainable future. Central to this vision is fostering urban and green spaces, embedding sustainable practices, and shaping a pedestrian-friendly city that enhances community well-being and enriches urban life.

As a city with purpose, vision, and mission, Misk City aims to create an environment that inspires connection, growth, and long-term impact.

An inspiring evening in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter, where a delegation of the renowned Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (MSFEA) at the American University of Beirut met and engaged with Riyadh based AUB alumni industry leaders in the fields of engineering, technology, architecture, consulting and sustainability.

In the presence of the Lebanese Ambassador Dr. Fawzi Kabbara, MSFEA Dean Alan Shihadeh, AUB Alumni Riyadh Chapter President Yehya El Oueini and committee members, new strategic collaborations were discussed with prominent AUB alumni representing organizations, such as PIF, Al Mabani, Khatib & Alami, Red Sea Global, Parsons, Riyadah Front, Egis, Nesma & Partners, Al Bawani, KPMG, PwC, SETS, Al Ikaria, STC, and Bonian among other leading organizations.
