On Friday, it was time for one of the highlights of the HT22: the Volleyball tournament.

And what shall we say: we are still very impressed by the performances of all our international students🤩 Our made it to the semifinals, and were very close to go even further in a tough match facing . In a thrilling final, our exchange students of took the win and got the trophy as this semesters champions of and 🏆🎉

Congratulations to all players of both teams🥇🥉, and not to forget all students who did not play but supported them and created an amazing atmosphere👏🏽 We hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did!

After we welcomed a record number of 180 exchange students during our arrival days two weeks ago, our international master students have started their introduction as part of too.🇸🇪

On Monday, they received some basic information about and their studies first, before they showed their skills at the Swedish outdoor game Kubb at a ‚Get Together‘ in the evening.

We are glad to have both our exchange and our international master students with us and hope you are enjoying your time in Örebro!🙌

Two-wheel action with great views? In Markaskogen, there is a 5km mountain bike trail (with a 53m climb) just behind the university campus. If you prefer flatter ground, try Hemfjärden runt - up to 40km of trils around lake Hjälmaren.

Örebro University is climbing over 100 places in this year’s edition of Shanghai world universities ranking.

The ranking is based on a number indicators, among them research volume, number of prominent researchers, and citations. Örebro University especially distinguishes itself within the area that measures the number of highly cited researchers.

Each year, ShanghaiRanking Consultancy ranks the top 1,000 universities in the world. This year’s edition sees Örebro University climbing over 100 places.
