A huge thank you to Unga Forskare for their support in making the T-Rax Open House workshop last September possible!

We received an amazing response from our members, and we hope this can become a yearly tradition.

During the Open House, participants had the opportunity to create projects from scratch in the different workshops around FUSE Makerspace. Together, we make stuff, have fun, and build community — the perfect way to kick off our academic year. 🚀

Imorgon, 24de April, mellan 10 och 19 har T-Rax öppet för alla byggare som behöver hjälp med speciallösningar eller konsultering.
Oavsett om du vill laserskära en skylt eller vattenskära en ny metal grunka till ditt ekipage kan vi hjälpa dig.

🔧 Vad vi kan hjälpa med:

• laserskärning (skära och gravera i plywood, akryl, etc)
• 3d printning
• Vattenskärning (skära och gravera i t.ex. metal)
• Metallarbete (inklusive svarvning och fräsning)
• Träarbete
• Textilarbete (t.ex trycka på tyger eller sy fast velcro)
• Blästring
• Enklare elektroniskt arbete

I den gula delen av SB3 (sök på T-Rax på Campus Maps)
eller på byggplatsen (vi bär vackra svarta rockar med gula dinosaurier på ryggen)

Tomorrow, the 24th of April, between 10 and 19 T-Rax is open for all builders who need help with special solutions or consultation.

🔧 What we can help with:

• Lasercutting (cutting and engraving in plywood, acryl, etc)
• 3d Printing
• Waterjetting (Cutting and engraving in eg. Metal)
• Metalwork (Including milling or lathing)
• Woodwork
• Textile work (eg. printing on fabric or sewing velcro)
• Sandblasting
• Simpler electronic projects

📍 Where can you find us:

In the yellow part of SB3 (search for T-Rax on Campus Maps)
or on the Byggplats (we wear beautiful black coats with yellow dinosaurs on the back)

To give members the opportunity to use the WOOD and METAL workshops, we will introduce an “open workshop” concept during LP4.

Board members will be present in the workshops every Wednesday to support you with your projects.

𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒔.

Due to limited capacity, the number of available spots in the workshops will be restricted. Members can collect a numbered card from the T-RAX office and then bring it to the corresponding workshop. Cards will be available Wednesdays at 17:30, and given out on a first come basis.

💜 Today on International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to recognize all the women throughout history who have claimed a place they were never given. Their courage, persistence, and determination paved the way for so many of us today. We stand on their shoulders.💜

As part of the board at T-RAX, we want to encourage everyone to build, create, and dare to try. Progress happens when people step forward, challenge norms, and support each other.
