Nils Dunlop är inte bara student i Applied Data Science, han kan numera också titulera sig Europamästare i Pokémon! 🎮
I april hölls den största internationella Pokémon-tävlingen någonsin med över 10 000 deltagare, och Nils Dunlop tog hem förstaprisvinsten i videospelskategorin🏆
– Pokémon påminner mycket om schack. Du måste förstå hur den andra personen tänker och det gäller att kunna spela logiskt. Det har krävts otroligt mycket hård träning på fritiden för att nå den här nivån, men även erfaranheter från mina studier har bidragit till att förbättra mitt spel, säger Nils som innan mastern Applied Data Science studerade kandidatprogrammet i Software Engineering & Management.
Tävlingen heter 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships och hölls i London.

“Pokémon is a lot like chess. You have to understand how the other person thinks, and you need to be able to play logically. It has required a lot of hard training in my spare time to reach this level, but experiences from my studies have also helped to improve my game.”, says Nils.
Before studying a masters in Applied Data Science he studied a bachelor in Software Engineering & Management.
The competition 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships was held in London in April.
