KONSTKÅREN STUDENT UNION

Konstkåren student union is the student union which represents all the students at the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at the University of Gothenburg including students from the teacher education program in music, dance, theatre, art and crafts. The faculty consists two institutions The Academy of Music and Drama (HSM) och HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Desig

n (HDK-Valand). Konstkåren was founded in 2010 through a merge of the old student unions that were active at each individual institution which today represented by Konstkårens different sections of each institution. OUR MISSION
The main duty of Konstkåren is to be a channel for students to get organize and review the activities and decisions made of the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts. There is a space for student representatives at various councils and decision making groups at both faculty level and locally at the institutions. Through these student representatives we will have a transparent over look at the faculty and possibility to influence our education.

Hej and Hej då🤗 Today was my, Leonies, last day as chairperson of Konstkåren. I had an amazing year with so many amazing volunteers and student representatives!:) Being a part of the student movement at Gothenburg University has been an honor, very fun and challenging:) I have learned so much during just this one year and I can really recommend all students to join their union and be a part of this amazing network❤️🤗 From tomorrow on my successor Miriam Ståhlgren will take over, a metal artist from Steneby that has been active at Konstkåren for a couple of years now. I think the next semester will be a great one and until then I wish you all a super nice summer break☀️🤗❤️

Are you looking for a job for the next year? We, the 4 different student unions at GU, are still looking for a new Presidium for GUS.
At the GUS presidium you are representing all students of Gothenburg University infront of the University. There are many different tasks and you will work together with many great people that want to make students over all experience at GU better.
