Karlstad University Welcome to Karlstad University's international FB! For Swedish, see fb.com/karlstadsuniversitet

The University is located on one campus offering a modern and stimulating environment. The architecturally inspiring library lies at the heart of the campus providing a much appreciated study environment for about 11,500 students. In 2009, a new exciting building, Vänern, was inaugurated which reflects our high ambitions for education and research. The University also has a campus in Arvika, about 90 km from Karlstad, where the Ingesund School of Music with its 300 students is located.

Karlstad University in Vietnam! 🇻🇳

Last week, our International Coordinator Sara Lemieux met prospective students at the EHEF fairs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. With 1,300 registrations in Hanoi and 1,200 in Ho Chi Minh City, both fairs offered a fantastic opportunity to connect with students from Vietnam.

Thank you to everyone who came to chat with us and to the organisers for two successful fairs! 💛

It might seem scary and the negative thoughts will of course arise, but walking out of the comfort zone is always like this✨

My advice is to change the way you see it. I moved in Sweden to study for a two years master without knowing anything and being extremely scared, but in the end it turned out to be the best experience of my life. I made lifelong friends and did so many things I wouldn’t have done if I stayed home❤️.

So CHANGE THE PERSPECTIVE and challenge yourself🌟

Karlstad University in the USA! 🇺🇸

Last week, our Admission Officer Juval Pruitt represented Karlstad University at three student recruitment fairs: the Study in Sweden fairs in Washington, DC. and New York, and the Idealist Grad School Fair in New York. 🎓

It was a great opportunity to meet prospective students, introduce our international programmes and answer questions about applying and studying in Sweden.

Thank you everyone who stopped by to meet us. We hope to welcome you to Karlstad University one day. 💛
