PI chaired professor Anna Öhrwall Rönnbäck discussed space research and innovation with astronaut Marcus Wandt and rektor Birgitta Bergvall-Kåreborn at Norra Scen, Almedalen.
As an introduction, chaired professor René Laufer Space Systems presented Luleå tekniska universitet position, and a national action plan was presented by Olle Norberg, Director General Institute for Space Physics, Marcus Borsand, strategy and business for Beyond Gravity, and our LTU alumni Ella Carlsson, head of Swedish Space Defence.
Also, she participated in the panel discussing needs of future competence for space technology and innovation with Anna Rathsman, Director General Swedish Space Agency, and Karin Holmqvist, strategy director for Swedish Space Corporation, for the development of sustainable, resilient and secure future society.

För tredje året i rad deltog Luleå tekniska universitet på Norra Scen under Almedalsveckan. I år låg fokus på framtidens rymdteknik och Arktis ökade strategiska betydelse. Två högaktuella och spännande områden inom vilka universitetet har mångårig forskning.
